Appearance[edit | edit source]
The Boss Pincer is a purple scorpion that has a large, flat head, two big, grey pincers and a mechanical-looking tail with a metal stinger. It has one black, shiny eye on the left and an eye-patch where his right eye would be. It has four legs at the end of its body.
It looks the same as the Pinceron, except for the colour and the eyes.
Combat[edit | edit source]
Once engaged in combat, the Boss Pincer will start following Lea. It will occasionally swipe at Lea with one of its pincers, briefly flashing red before striking. During its second attack, the Boss Pincer will stop moving, stick its stinger into the ground and send it through the ground at Lea. Once the stinger reaches Lea, it will come out of the ground and deal damage. It does this twice before it will return the stinger to himself and return to his normal behaviour. During the second attack, it can be stunned if enough damage is dealt to it. Once stunned, the Pinceron will take reduced damage.
The Boss Pincer is resistant to VRP.
Strategies[edit | edit source]
When fighting a Boss Pincer, you should stay away while it's performing its swipes and wait until it sticks its stinger into the ground. Once this happens, the quickest way to stun it is by using your VRP so that you don't have to approach it. If there's a lot of Monsters in the way, consider using a Dash Art to reach it and deal damage. Once it's stunned, try finishing it off with your Melee attacks, since the Boss Pincer is resistant to VRP.
