There are two Shock Guard Combat Arts available to Spheromancers: one first-level and one second-level art.

Clock Block[edit | edit source]

Clock Block is a Shock-elemental, level one Guard-type Combat Art. It costs 1 CP to activate and 1 SP to use.

Upon using it, Lea guards against exactly one attack for a short duration. If she is attacked during this duration, she blocks the attack and slows down time for everything but herself. This includes balls, although they move only slightly slower.

Clock Block is very useful against fast-moving enemies that tend to dodge Lea's attacks. By slowing down their movement speed, Lea will be able to damage otherwise hard-to-hit enemies, for a short duration which might be enough to finish them off.

Glitch Time[edit | edit source]

Glitch Time is a Shock-elemental, level two Guard-type Combat Art. It costs 2 CP to activate and 3 SP to use.

Upon using it, Lea guards against exactly one attack for a short duration. If she is attacked during this duration, she blocks the attack and slows down time in a near standstill for everything but herself. Enemies will be unable to act, and balls will move very slowly until the time stop effect ends, only then launching at their destinations.

Glitch Time is a very powerful art, in that it completely freezes enemies in place, allowing the player to kill them without giving them a chance to strike back. It might be useful for ranged builds, allowing them to deal huge burst damage once the effect ends, throwing out as many balls as possible without having to worry about missing.
