The Illegal Floating Turret is a mechanical enemy in CrossWorlds. They can be found in Rookie Harbor during the quest Wet Work and the DLC quest Wetter Work.

Illegal Floating Turret

Heavily modified turrets made in Rhombus Square and meant for illegal activities all over Shadoon. They are equipped with floating devices to cross the ocean on their own and might even have their own shielding system. It is advised to only face them with the support of heavy artillery.

Appearance[ | ]

The Illegal Floating Turret is a cylindrical turret with a cannon on its front, a thruster on its base and an angry expression on its hatch.

Combat[ | ]

It can aim and shoot a red ball at the player, or a yellow ball directly at the support turret which, if it lands, stuns it, all while advancing from right to left of the screen. There are 2 ways it can be broken: by shooting it with the support turret, or by shooting it with a charged ball while its aiming towards it. Turrets can also spawn with a shield that can be destroyed by the support turret.

Strategies[ | ]

They will be accompanied by Illegal Floating Bombers, so using Throw Arts is recommended in case your firepower isn’t enough to take all the enemies down before they destroy your turret or get through the screen.
