The Legionary Turret v2 is a Monster in CrossCode. They can be found in Maroon Valley during the Just Deserts quest.

Legionary Turret v2

An improved variant of the popular Rhombus Turret, used by the law-enforcement of Ba'kii Kum. This type does not have an accompanying Legionary Leader v1 for additional shielding but can still fire mortars at targets behind cover or on different height layers.

Appearance[ | ]

The Legionary Turret v2 looks identical to the Legionary Turret v1. It is a cylindrical, sand colored turret with two legs, a red ring on its top and a hatch with angry eyes. It is stationary and can open its hatch to shoot upwards.

Combat[ | ]

These turrets act the same as the Legionary Turret v1, with the only difference being that they don’t have a shield. They shoot a slow, bouncing projectile that looks like a red ball, which they can instead shoot into the air like a mortar. The mortar shot cannot be blocked, and they take more damage while preparing an attack.

Strategies[ | ]

Since they don’t have a shield, you can pummel them and take them out before they attack. Their mortar shot can hit you from any place in the arena, so never consider yourself safe from their attacks.
