Factions are a part of CrossWorlds lore. The factions are groups of humans on Shadoon dedicated to the advancement of humanity. Each of the four factions follows a different core philosophy, which complement each other in their services to humanity. Each faction is represented by a different subdivision in each town (except Rhombus Square). From a meta perspective, the factions serve to provide quests to the players of CrossWorlds. All of the currently-implemented subdivisions have two or three main quests, with the later ones only being unlocked after completing the earlier ones and continuing further through the game. Some of the subdivisions have additional challenge quest versions of their main quests on top of that.

Aside from scouting for unexplored regions and monitoring any movements of the creatures connected to the Track of the Ancients they also hunt and search for useful resources and Ancient artifacts. The Falldivers are currently under the command of Elenya Volkewsky, who holds the title of Forerunner. It should be noted, however, that the command structures in this Faction are very flexible. |
