The Rhombus Enforcer 2.0 is a mechanical enemy in CrossWorlds. It can be found in the Rhombus Dungeon.

Mechanical
Rhombus Enforcer 2.0

Often called "Default-Bot" by the developers of CrossWorlds this enemy is used in the official tutorial of the game as a more dangerous foe compared to a Rhombus Enforcer 1.0. It will charge up and attack 3 times in a row but conveniently it will also tell you by both blinking red and via a message. Truly an enemy for a tutorial!

Appearance

The Rhombus Enforcer 2.0 is a robot that resembles its lesser variant, but slightly bigger. It is made of three seemingly disconnected parts, being a pill-shaped core, a cone with a swept-back, stylized tip on top and a larger ring suspended around its core. It is primarily white, with substantial blue and grey highlights.

Combat

The Rhombus Enforcer 2.0 will slowly follow the player around, staying close to them but not willingly going within Melee range. It has two possible attacks. The weaker attack is indicated by it briefly turning dull red, after which it dashes through the player once. The stronger attack is preceded by the enemy flashing bright red and charging the attack for a short period of time while a red text box that says "Charging!" appears on top of it. The Enforcer then dashes at the player three times in rapid succession. Both attacks are vulnerable to disruption by charged Balls and by Melee. If the stronger attack is disrupted with a charged Ball while it is charging, the Enforcer is knocked back substantially, breaks and becomes stunned and weakened for a short period of time. While broken, a it will get a blue text box saying "Weak!".

Strategies

Attacking them while weakened is an obvious way to quickly deal with them, however the knockback from hitting them while they charge can land them in a crowd of other Enforcers, making approaching them dangerous. It can be helpful to concentrate attacks on the enemies that have wandered away from the group, while dodging weak attacks and disrupting strong ones. When trapped in a crowd of them or unable to disrupt a strong attack, Dashing away is recommended.
